vista crach with extra memory

hi i have an asus p5n32-e sli motherboard with 2gb of reaper ram
i have just got an extra 2gb of the same ram but when i install it windows boots up and then locks up i have removed the extra 2gb and it runs as normal how do i stop the system from crashing when i install the extra 2gb

might be worth bumping the M/B's chipset voltage so it can handle the extra RAM

Also install this 4gb hotfix from Microsoft.
