I know there was a program supplied with XP along the lines of Microsoft Photo Editor or something like that. It would open gifs and jpegs and would allow you to do very basic editing. Has this disappeared in Vista? I can't find anything of the sort, except for paint, which doesn't seem to have the features of Photo Editor. I don't really want to have to open up Photoshop for each jpeg.
At the moment, whenever I try and open a jpg, gif, or similar in Vista it will ask for a program which it can use to open the file. Is this normal behaviour? There is no program associated with these file types.
