Vista Desktop Icons Moving Randomly

Got a slightly annoying problem with Vista where some of my desktop icons seem to move themeslves randomly after a restart. I can place them where I want again on the desktop and shut down, restart and a different one has moved.

It only seems to be 1 icon on each reboot but it's just annoying. It's been the same throughout a number of full reinstalls and also the same on my system with 32 and 64 bit ultimate versions.

Anyone else had this?

I had a similar issue where my default views of folders would change. eg my "games" folder should have the view "large icons" for box art and "Computer" should be set to details. I was finding these views would mix up and I would get huge hd icons and little game icons. I never got to the bottom of as I reinstalled Vista and it has gone (for now!)

I get it now and then after reboots in Vista Ultimate 32bit but only have 3 desktop icons so not the end of the world.
