Vista, difference between OEM > retail

is it true you need retail if you change your system and want to install vista again?

if so, OEM = complete crap, i am disappointed.. why should i pay over 250 or 300 or whatever it is for a bloody OS? terrible price.

and would it be a waste to buy now or will the price not drop much..

Really don't buy an OS without reading about it and its different versions first!

well id rather buy ultimate if the difference is like from xp home to pro. By that i mean if vista home you can use the key like 5 times before they say u have activated too many times and need to phone blah blah.. id rather buy ultimate just for that reason.
