Got a Vista machine with onboard VGA, when adding in a second gfx card, it apeears to disable the onboard VGA, how do I stop this from happening?

Cheers

Then it would be more beneficial to use a splitter cable, or just get a GFX card that has dual outputs.

how on earth is a splitter cable more beneficial:confused:

nikuma what board and graphics card are you trying to use?

as has been said, vista will only allow one set of graphics drivers, so the onboard gpu and the card both have to be from the same company, using the same set of drivers.

Onboard intel and ATI card, oh well looks like only 2 screens in vista which sucks, just cos of the new WDM is pathetic
