Vista disk defragmenter program... sloooooow

Does anyone know a way of speeding up the Vista defrag program, or can recommend something better

I've been waiting 4 hours now for it to finish defragging my C: drive, and this isn't really acceptable considering it's a fresh install and theres only 30gigs data on a RAID0 array!
The hard disk late barely flickers as it idly moves data around at low priority

The most annoying thing about the Vista disk defragmenter is that they've removed the "progress bars" that were in XP and previous editions. I'm thinking of getting Diskeeper 2008 since it seems reliable though for 64-bit support you need to get their "professional" version.

Perfectdisk is very good, I've used it on a lot of systems and it's often shown performance benefits.

They've sorted it out for SP1 apparently. Auslogics is a very good free one.

I have been using JkDefrag on Vista for ages and it has not caused any issues so far.
