Vista doesn't see my second core on my cpu?

I downloaded a sidebar gadget to show cpu usage and ram usage in the one widget, it clearly says that I have one cpu and that it has one core (Dual core opteron 146 is what I have)

Is the widget wrong or is ultimate only seeing one core?

It shows one CPU UsageHistory graph and One Physical Memory Usage History graph. So windows isn't seeing my second core????!?!?!?

I bought it under the assumption it was dual core, and it even says during boot that its a dual core :S

nope, its a 146 :S Think my mobo needs a bios upgrade.
