Vista dual boot screen question

Hey guys i have my 300gb primary sata drive pulled into 40/40/220 GB partitions, with XP pro being on the first 40, i plan to put vista on the 2nd 40 which as far as i know should be fine for dual booting, right?

The main concern, is i use an ATI card via DVI which means i don't get a picture until windows will this make choosing an OS a blind task? If so, what does it usually default to, so i know what to choose?

It will default to Vista, but you can easily change it to XP

Just change it to XP in start up and recovery options in device manager
