VISTA Folder location change....Possible?

Ive currently got my xp system setup with the My documents folder located on another drive.......With XP this was easy to do right clicking and just changing the target to my new drive in this case drive f:


Is this possible in vista.......If so how doi go about doing it?

right click ,properties,location select target and vista will transfer the files to another drive

i dont have that option

i lie iwas right lcicking the Profile, not "Documents"
 
hmm i tried this....could find change target option

Its there in xp just i couldnt find it in Vista when i previously installed it :confused:

I want to reinstall in the next hour or so

Can anyone else confirm this?

IIRC you go into your profile bit on the C:\ drive then it'll have a list of things like my pics, music and documents. You right click on that icon and do it, not the icon on the desktop.

Ill have to give that a try....so wheres you profile bit located ?

click your name on the top right of the start menu. that opens your profile folder. you then need to change the location of each folder inside separately...

pictures
music
documents
videos
downloads
etc
