Vista folder privileges

Howdy :)

Has anyone else noticed Vista setting drives and folders to read only?
I've even previously set drives so that I have full ownership, and today comeback to find that my games don't launch because the folder they're in is read only.

Highly annoying..

Vista '64 SP1 btw :)
