Vista freezing on bootup

Hey (again)

For some reason, Vista freezes shortly after bootup, and opening task manager and then closing it will kick it back into action. Any ideas what could be causing it?

My spec is e2180 @2.8GHz, AC Freezer 7 Pro, 2Gb Geil Black Dragon 800MHz, Inno3D 8800GT OC, Gigabyte P35C-DS3R, 250Gb Barracuda.

I've run Orthos for a good few hours and it seems stable.

try reinstalling vista?

Check your start up files in MSCONFIG.

It's a fresh install of Vista. My laptop does it as well, so maybe its a general issue that Vista has?

Will check msconfig when I get home - am at Uni at the mo
