*** does it mean when it says can support upto 1gb memory. How can you increase memory of it. Sorry if i sound stupid but not sure on graphics.

Thanks

Also forgot to mention. Wonder if you know. At the moment im using a pretty poor graphics card. With vista running on it, it copes but the one problem i not sure if can be changed. The start menu and all the screen is very small. ie the writing and the internet browser layout etc. I can screen shot if u like. Is this affected by the graphics card and or resolution.

Thanks

Just go to control panel > display > settings> and change the resolution to make it bigger e.g.... 800 x 600

It has 1gb of memory built in so it can handle quite a bit for that kinda £

Any idea of what card you have in there now? it should say in control panel > display > settings

Erm it is a pci graphics card. An analog one. It called nvidia geforce fx5200. And the problem with changing the resolution is that it goes reli blurry when u do. That my problem. Wondered if changing the graphics card would stop that.

Thanks for replying

Erm i think ive solved that problem by changing the dpi settings. The graphics card you suggested though it says it has 256mb memory but can support upto a 1gb. Dont understand this wonder if you could explain. many thanks
