Vista home basic and premium

Little advice needed

What is the main difference between the basic and premium versions apart from the £20?

I currently run my comp on xp home 32 bit. But i have a 64 bit processor, would upgrading to vista 64 offer any advantages?

Hi , Vista Basic has no aero effect and no media center. The Home Premuim is much better with more features. Basically, Basic is for 1st time users.
