Has anyone managed to get drag and drop working between a Vista x64 host and XP x86 guest in VMWare Workstation?

I've got all the drag and drop features enabled and VMWare Tools installed but it's still not working :(

Workstation 6.5

Any ideas?

i couldn't say how to get it working, but just add the HDD that the file is on as a virtual disk in VMware and access it from the guest OS.

I like to drag files from my host desktop to the guest desktop. You can't add the C: drive as a virtual disk can you?

what i usually do is setup a shared folder on my local machine and just map it..

this is using virtualbox though, never tried drag & drop, although it'd be damn useful :)

Yeah, I've not got a problem getting files between the host and the guest, I either use the shared folders features, or I just use the network. It'd just be so much easier getting the drag & drop feature working as it should :)
