Hi.

Is there anyway to open websites that dont have www. before them?

I can open a certain site fine on XP but not with Vista/IE7.

The website is remote.northyorks.gov.uk/webmail.

Thanks

try typing the http:// first. I have no problems with IE7.

Have you managed to get on the site I have put in the OP?

Not sure how this site works and the other one doesn't tbh.

Putting http:// or just // in front works.

As it happens, I can't load that site on Vista, 2003, IE7 or Firefox. So I'd say it's knackered. Just get a 504 service error if you wait long enough.

Works on my girlfriends laptop with XP and IE7.

BTW, I never got an error when loading, IE7 was just trying to open he site and nothing ever came up.

I can see the 504 error on my gfs laptop now.
