Trying to install vista 64bit on my 150gb WD Velociraptor but it keeps bluescreening!

Tried flashing mobo to newest version, then tried the 2nd newest but still no avail!
The pc itself was lying about in parts for a week or two before its build so whether ive missed a driver I dont know but theres nothing I know of! :(

Any ideas?

PC brief spec

Mobo : P5n-D SLI
cpu: q6600 not overclocked core 2 quad
ram: 4gb 800mhz
gpu: xfx 8800gts alpha dog edition

Does the memory voltage and timmings need setting up or try single modules just in case one is faulty.

Not sure if they need setup, its saying automatic in bios settings just.
Do I need to enter values? If so where do I get them?

Edit; Using a diff hdd and loading vista its still recognising all the RAM available.

Take out some RAM so you have left than 4gb, I bevlive there was a problem with installing Vista with 4Gb or ram

Kimbie

Edit, removed a stick of ram and enter ram timings and it seems to be working! Cheers guys, much appreciated
