Vista Install Crashing

I've built a new HTPC yesterday and am having trouble installing windows. I can install and get through to the 'completing installation' stage but then it will not do anything (I left it for 2 hours). The computer hasn't crashed as I can still move the mouse.
I've tried reformatting and installing three times and it keeps getting stuck at the same part.

The specs are:

AMD Phenom 9550
Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H
4GB Value Ram
Antec Fusion - 430W PSU

Does anyone know of how to fix this or does this sound like a hardware problem?
Thanks

Try 2GB Ram or less as unless you have an SP1 Vista DVD it will usually hang on this as the hotfix was included in SP1 (this is all for the 32bit version unsure about the 64 bit but should imagine it would support 4GB for the install).

Thanks, I tried using only 2GB of ram but it still crashed.
I got it fixed in the end. I set SATA to run in IDE mode in the bios and now it's working fine. :)
