Installed Vista Ultimate 32 bit OEM tonight,

Already got my first error!
Disconnected all but one of my four SATA HDD such that i made a clean install, also formatted prior, onto one of the HDD. On the initial install window in Vista whereby you select the partition to install, there is already an warning message saying "This drive may fail". I couldnt get rid of it after formatting the drive again, or trying anotehr HDD, so i installed Vista and everything was ok. First message in Vista however is that of a potential drive failure so please back up your data.

Any ideas anyone?

Running on A8N SLI Deluxe, Athlon 3500+, 2gb RAM, Only having to install the RAID drivers left which i am doing presently!

Regards

It will be reporting a SMART error, might be a good idea to do exactly what it says tbh. Saying that, my laptop HD gives a false SMART error which shows in NHC, but vista never said anything about it.

Ill try and do a hard drive check on the drive. THere is no data on the drive to be lost anyway so theres no issue of doin the backup. May need to try a fresh new drive in that case. ANy other ideas?
