Vista Installation Question

All,

When your installing Vista, and as with other past Windows operating systems, i imagine you press F6 to specify a RAID/SATA driver?

Also, i don't have a FDD in my PC as i don't use them anymore, is it possible to load the driver from a CD/DVD with vista for my SATA controller?

I did search but couldn't find this questions asked before. I know it isn't possible to do this with XP.

Vista should recognize your raid setup. It recognized my Nvidia stripe no problem.

as above, it recognised my raid stripe straight off.

but you can load drivers from CD/DVD/USB stick etc. now

My motherboard is a Asus A8v Deluxe. I have one SATA 1 HDD. Anyone else had ti workng with the above board?

Well, wish me luck. I've got myself Vista Ultimate. Broke the bank but i know i will have to support this very soon so it is worth me getting used to it. Not used iot at all, just read an awful lot about it and seen a lot of screen shots.

I hope it works ok with my Orange Wireless router. (Livebox)

Anything with a working network card would work with a router, no other drivers necessary. Wouldn't worry about that!
