Hi there,

I'm installing the vista beta 2 at the moment on a Shuttle SN85G2 V2 which has an onboard Sil 3512 controller for the sata dive. Now to get this drive loaded, you need to put a USB drive in and load the controllers. The problem is that vista then recognises the usb drive as C:\ and the SATA drive as D:\ so you end up with your install on D:\ :(

Does anyone know a way round this?

thanks

If anyone else gets stuck on this, I've got round it by burning the drivers to the root of a CDR and using that, then swapping back to the vista disk after they are installed :)
