I've put the IHC9R 64bit drivers on a floppy, but Vista can't find it when it scans!?!

Any idea what i'm doing wrong?

ok, going back through BIOS, as it looks like i missed something there... In the manual it says to select Serial-ATA-BOOTROM. Where would i find this, as it's not under Sata Configuration (which is where the manual says it is)!?!

I'm using ASUS BIOS v0404.

Thanks

I've got the p5K Dlx.

And the manual's not worth a w***! lol!

by pressing ctrl-i at post i've joined the two drives as a RAID0 (not in manual)

Also in the SATA Configuration menu, it's showing Intel Robson Technology which, according to the manual, it shouldn't be showing at all, as 'configure SATA as' is set to RAID!?!

Ok, well i have an ASUS P5B Deluxe and i belive most ASUS boards the BIOS layout is very similar.

When you first enter the BIOS, the first page you should get up is the Main page.

Time, date, SATA Drives etc.....

See if you can see something called IDE Configuration..... Click on that, the the next page you should see something called Configure SATA as, it will most likely be set to IDE, change it to RAID. :)

panic over, it was a duff floppy lol! Put the driver on another floppy, and it's all good. ;)
