vista jerkiness

even running idle on my 32 bit vista ultimate install, the mouse will momentarily pause every few seconds on my 1.83Ghz dual core centrino vaio lappy with 1GB ram - any idea what could be making this happen? i had the same problem on one of the betas on my old big computer, but never got that sorted.

aha, figured it out - used guru3d's nvidia mobile gfx drivers and got it to work, for anyone using them with a 7600, don't run the setup.exe after extracting, search for the drivers in the folder you extracted to, then say that you trust the distributor, it works
