Vista Just RTM'd

i think it depends on the software you uni/school has decided to give you i did email our MSDNAA advisor but hes not about so im not sure

Been checking my Uni's AA and i'm not holding my breath, theres no chance you'll get office as I can;t even get office 2003, you can probably get the new project and visio but then again uni's only include them if/when they move to that version of the software and with all office products now having file types that are not compatible with older version (unless you choose the old format in save as) i can't see it happening soon.

Same with vista, my uni only started including xp when they moved over to that OS last year. However they've just started a Microsoft server/maintenance certification thing so they could include the most recent OS however I can't see it happening untill the new term starts next september.

Uni's seem to be pushing open office a lot at the moment, although 2007 Enterprise Edition VLK has already been leaked.

Windows Vista Ultimate will be up on MSDNAA on the 17th Nov.
eeeexcellent :p.

I think our uni will be getting the enterprise edition of Vista in the license agreement we have (latest copy of Windows/Office). Not sure how this is going to work for home users though as we're supposed to be entitled to one copy of each for personal use. Will probably be a few months until things start happening here with it.
