I seem to be having a problem sometimes when trying to shut down Vista.
The problem occurs when I shut down the PC having not exited IM/VoIP programs like MSNM and Skype. If I shut down having not exited these the PC will hang on the 'logging off' screen or the screen will just go black and I won't be able to access task manager. On restart I get a screen saying that Windows did not shut down properly and would I like to go into safe mode or just start normally. If I start normally then there are no further problems and Vista boots fine, but has anyone encountered anythign similar? Is it Vista's fault or the incompatibility of these programs on Vista 64 [more likely Skype than MSNM]?
