Vista Login Problem

I was fiddling with my PC the other day, setting it to be secure, as I'm now in a house with my uni friends and I wanted to password my OSes, XP is sorted, but I was in Vista and wanted to set a password and it said that I couldn't via the password manager and had to ctrl+alt+del and change it like that.

I then set the PC to require logging in, and logged out, to find out if I had actually set a password. As far as I remember I haven't set one, yet I can't log into Vista, it asks for the password, I enter nothing an it says it's wrong, I try ALL of the passwords I use, and none of them work.

So I am now locked out of Vista, is there a way to get into an admin account (only accounts are Mine and Admin). I know with XP there used to be a way you cold get it to log into admin using some buttons or something, but I can't remember what it was...ctrl+alt+del doesn't change the screen (default Vista login screen).

It isn't a huge deal, I can reinstall Vista, but I'd rather not as I have my settings done how I like it, and I have no web in my room, so can't authorise it once I've reinstalled.

and how did you manage to set a password yet you don't know what it is? you have to type it in twice to set it? :D

That's what I'm wondering. :D

That program looks like it could be what I need, cheers, will report back on working or not.
