hi all, i just got windows vista home premium, i done the clean install as i read a tutorial on it, ya know dont user code first time then install again only as upgrade 2nd time, and install all my drivers. now first time around i installed windows with doing the upgrade and my card reader and camera worked as vista picked them up as a removeable disk but then i formatted and done the proper full clean install of installing it twice and my card reader and digital camera wont work, vista says it cant find drivers, so i thought i made a mess of things so i done it again, i formatted and installed it once and then again with the key and yet again my devices dont work, anyone got any ideas?

vista shouldnt need drivers, there generic mass storage devices, also asked fuji (my camera) and they said vista will pick up the drivers automatically as they did the first time but not since.

I'm having the same problem with all my memory sticks as well.
To get mine to work I have to go through the driver install options and let it search the whole C drive and it will find and install them.

mass storage devices don't need drivers if your running xp or above...

where is it pluged in to?

my card readers are built in to my floppy drive and its connected to the usb inside on the motherboard
