Thought most of you would like this.
Over at Neowin a user has released patch to enable the titlebar transparency and taskbar transparency when a window is maximised, it is quite awesome on all levels as I was wondering why this was not a part of Vista to start with.

Works well!

It makes it look incredibly confusing! Having "almost visible" icons behind the title bar of a maximised window seems useless to me. I suppose if you really like the look of it it's alright, but I can certainly see why they didn't make it look like that to begin with!

If you have a window maximised then usually it is for a reason. I see no reason to be have a maximised window transparent.

If you don't like it you don't like it :)

This is for people who do like it :)

Besides who has multiple icons on their desktop eh, you messy people!

Any chance of linking to a bigger picture? Not seen the MCE theme.

The guy who made a pic was using a different than default theme for vista, in addition to having this mod...

This thing does nothing more than make the top bar in maximized windows tranperent, like they are when not maximized, it doesn't change how transparent it is or anything else, the theme you are using decides that...
