Ok I have just installed vista 64bit onto my media centre but I have one small niggle.
When I had 32bit vista installed I just had ffdshow installed and that handled all of my video decoding tasks. It doesent seem to work with 64bit media centre. The videos play fine in media player 11 but in media centre I get an error message about the lack of codecs.
Is there anything I can do to get the videos to play in media centre? and also to show thumbnails of the videos as well?

x64 components


install those two in that order, get them from betanews or majorgeeks (use google)
 
ive installed the codecs and can now play the videos in media centre but it just wont show the thumbnails any ideas on how I can show them??
