Vista Media Centre + file types

I was looking to get a bit more involved with Media Centre now that I have Vista Ultimate running on this system, I think it's a nice piece of software but would probably be even better if it actually worked...

Basically MC won't see ANY of my .avi files, nor will it see ANY .jpegs. Anyone know why/know a fix?

Install ffshow & it should then see your .avi files, or install the plain XviD codec.
Have you set up the folders you want MC to watch..?
