Vista memory issues

Vista keeps telling me Ive run out of memory... now ive got 4gb ram so am quite surprised. Checking task manager there does appear to be a lot running though. Any ideas?

How long has it been installed ?

Got stuff in your desktop folder?

Try moving them and run Ccleaner.

Might also be worth checking any services that you don't think should be there.

Run HiJackThis and check them against the process library http://www.processlibrary.com/

I would also see if you have the same issue in Safemode.. Then again look at the differences between the services running between this and normal mode ( save the text file and print it off), google any differences. Can be painstaking but worth it.
