Few questions.

Any Ideas when Creative are going to release a new driver that will give me back my lovely audio console, (as in the old layout, that looks like an amplifier, with the EQ, instead of the poopoo vista has atm)? I miss the Eq!

When are Nvidia going to make SLI ready memory compatible with vista? Every time i enable it it just BSOD's constantly. Meaning i can only have timings of 5-5-5-18 instead of 4-4-4-12.

Same issue with X-Fi here, and... well, not so much the second one, but...

Well, going up to Vista tomorrow. If I might suggest the Youpax pack [of delight](edit: <- of delight not part of the name) (google it, or search on the creative forums), unticking "install drivers" and installing the most recent drivers, that should give you functionality along with most of the programs.

Nvidia one I can't solve.

Official Creative solution also is a no-go.

I'm worried about their shoddy customer service. Hope it changes.
 
They said they couldnt give and info on support for vista when asked. The drivers they supply are only basic functions. Even on the creative forums they recommend the Youpax drivers.
 
My guess is they'll just release a new soundcard with native Vista driver support, and dropping X-Fi line. It forces Vista owners to upgrade, even though the X-Fi is good card.
 
i have a Audigy 2 ZS sound card, i have the same issue.. but i guess the bass and treble controls in vista are ok for now. plus i have EQ's on my 5 amps ;)

Thx a lot, that youpax stuff seems pretty good, and i get the old goodlooking interface back!

I hope they dont bring out a new card for vista, their customer service cant be THAT bad surely.
 
i hope they don't take out a new creative card cuase i like the xfi only probs am having with vista is titan mode in 2142 crashing not sure if this is xfi drivers or nivida
