If i were to purchase Vista OEM, How many times could i install it on the same machine?

i.e. if i were to install it, then 6 months i wanted to do a complete wipe and re-install, would it work?

What if i decided to change a piece of hardware..like the motherboard..and do a clean wipe, could i re-install it?

You can install it as many times as you want. You can't change the motherboard though, unless it breaks under warranty and is replaced by the supplier/manufacturer.

Im guessing this is the same for the processor too?

The GFX, HDD, RAM etc etc will count as an upgrade, and not a new system

You can change anything else as many times as you like just not the motherboard.

Surely people could say there board borked and then get a different board stating that it was replaced from the supplier/manufacturer.

When in reality all they had done is bought a new mobo?

The question is, how would they actually be able to know you got a replacement or just bought a new board.

Realistically, they can't.
