I have just got Vista Home Premium and know there are issues with upgrading but want to try it out.

I have a opty 165 on a DFI which is all watercooled with a 8800gtx in it which I use for my main gaming rig. I would like to try it on my 165 on an ASUS premium with a 7800GTX first to see if everything works.

Now the question is will I be able to swap it to my main machine when I am happy as I havent decided yet which one to put it on (eventuqally may move away from watercooling and plonk the 8800 in the air cooled ASUS as its quieter and a smaller case)

Any advice?

yes, windows will work for 30 days without being activated. You could install it on both machines and keep it on the one you want.

There is also an easy way to extend the trail for 4 months, i used it for 4 months, then bought a key when i decided to stick with it, simply typed it in and activated it

Thanks for that, will install it and activate it when I decide which hardware combo works the best (checking games and stability etc). The other I will keep on X64 as it is a retail version and the only reason to up to Vista is because I cant get the drivers for X64 which are starting to appear for Vista).

Many thanks
