Hey,

I have posted this before within the Linux and Open Source section - but just thought the answer may be found in here!

I have tried on several occasions to install Vista onto my Mac Pro - but to no avail always having a hissy fit about the connection between the GFX and the Mobo - only allowing it to be ran in 800 x 600 at 4 colours.

Has anyone out there successfully installed Vista on there Mac Pro? Would they be able to give me a few pointers or a website to help me along?

eCookies are available to those that help!

Thanks in advance!

Bookcamp? you mean Bootcamp.

Yeah it is in Beta but many people have got Vista running through Bootcamp on other macs (my mate has got it running on his Macbook Pro for example).

Apparantly you have to extract the drivers from the mac driver disc and install them separately - is this true?

Hey Guys,

giving this one a bump as I wanted to see if anyone had got it working yet - all I want is a OS X / Vista machine and at the moment it is proving very hard!

Anyone got this working yet - or has bootcamp been updated yet?

I'm thinking that, at nearest, you'll have to wait for the stable release of Bootcamp with Leopard.

Was thinking that might be the case - ah well - it's not like it's a BIG thing I need tomorrow or anything.

Thanks for your help.
