Vista or XP

Hi there, basically, check my signature to see my specs. I plan on gaming (particularly crysis etc.) over anything else. So, a few questions,

1. Is it worth paying for Vista over XP to gain the benefits of DX10 etc.

2. If so, should I go 64-bit or 32-bit. My processor is capable of 64-bit.

3. What are the advantages / disadvantages of 64-bit OS.

Yes, get Vista 64 bit so you can use the full 4GB of RAM.

heh, cheers mate. One final question, should I bother going for Premium over Basic? bearing in mind I'm pretty much only really going to game... What would I gain from buying premium?

Main thing i would be concered with is the Aero interface and Media center. Apart from that, you may as well go basic.

yup - currently from your sig, if you're using 32 bit - you're not utilising all the memory you have.

Home Premium is worth it, I'd say. The Aero interface is very nice to use.
