Vista Partition Setup

Hi peps,

Can anyone who is running Vista with just one partition on their disk tell me what the partition setup is like?

Eg,

Running a 250,000MB disk...
Vista Partition 249,992MB Partition NTFS
Unused space 8MB

Does Vista still not let you use up the full amount of disk?

I am having issues trying to get my setup working after dumping my xp partition and maxing out the vista partition.

I don't think any OS will let you use the full disc size, it always keeps a bit back for it's own use.

I've got Vista 64 running, when I set it up it kept back about 8gig or so.

No disc is ever the full amount that it is sold as, I've just added 500gig of NAS and only have 464gig and there is no OS on that.
