Vista performance rater

Ive got all my new computer up and running and i have run the vista performance rater and i get 1.0....all the graphics tests get 1.0 and everything else 5.9.

dunno why my gfx tests are like this as i have installed the drivers correctly.

What GPU is it? Are you sure the graphics are working all right? What score do you get it a 3DMark bench?

More than likely you will need to update (run the test) again, if you installed your drivers after the first initial assessment the score would explain this.

Are the numbers in a black background or blue?

assuming the drivers are new and the test has being rerun, run cpu-z and see if the pci express slot is running at 16x like its meant to

got no games to play yet

tried to install 3dmark 2k6 either and it kept giving me an installshield error.

i wonder if any of this is related to my wierd driver experience where it wouldnt let me install the latest beta driver.

On my P5K I have a 4x PCI-Express slot (which is black on mine) and a 16x PCI-Express (which is blue on mine) and I had my 8800GT installed in the 4x slot. Was getting really poor performance in the NFSro Street demo. Putting it into the correct slot quickly corrected this. Your issue sounds like that, or a driver issue. Probably the latter.

Try Driver Cleaner, then reinstall non beta driver

i ended up having to reinstall vista, in my attempts to get the beta drivers working i must have screwed up the os......im now getting 5.8 at stock

just ran 3dmark 06...got 13k at stock
