A) where's the time setting for screensavers gone and is it possible to somehow stop the screen saver appearing if I watching videos?

B) If I'm downloading (firefox or Get flash) then the computer still enters hibernation mode, how do I stop this happening, I can't see any relavent options in the power management screen.

Hey AcidHell2,

Referring to the time setting for screensavers, are you talking about, when the screen saver starts when the computer is in an idle state? If so then it should be on the same page where you can choose a screensaver.

Now as for the screen saver appearing when watching a video, i am not to sure why this is happening since it shouldn't be happening :p. Are you sure its the screen saver and not simply the screen auto turning off? :)

Their is no hibernation option power management bit in Windows Vista im afraid, however their is a command you can do to turn Hibernation off. Click the Start button, and then type cmd and open it with administrative rights.

In the command prompt window, type in the following command:

powercfg -h off

After this command has been run, you can close the command prompt window. :)

Well thats really Annoying, I'm sure hibernation just detects keyboard/mouse and shuts down regardless what software is running :(, I still want hibernation, just not when the computer is doing things.
