if you have a pc with 32 bit vista pre installed can you still upgrade to 64 bit.if not can i delete the pre installed vista and replace it with a copy i have then put the 64 bit on . i am not too clued up on this type of thing but do they pre install on a part of the hard drive and the make it so so cannot remove it..
 
thanks for that .i am thinking of buying a second hand shop brought pc and it comes with all that stuff you dont want and i have heard that norton can be a pain to remove.so i can reformat and start from scatch ..
 
norton is easy to get rid of. go to control panel/programs and features and then uninstall it.

i did that on my vista lappy and it was very easy to get rid of.

There are some versions of NAV that require you to download a Norton Uninstall programme from their website. Also even when uninstalled via add-remove programmes you would be surprised at the amount of stuff left behind.

I can vouch for that. I uninstalled it from my friends computer and it left them with no internet access till I manually deleted the reg keys :|

yep with norton system works 2002/3 you have to goto nortons site download the uninstaller, remove registry keys, nightmare! :mad:
