Right, this is a networked printer. so to get at it, i need to log into a server/domain. so i do something like: run, \\servername, then input login credentials. double clicking adds the printer to my list, no problems. can see it initialising, then come online. however, all programs seem to not be able to print to it (although they manage to on another network printer connected to a different server). I can't call up the printer properties of the HP printer, as it seems to "time out" and crash windows explorer. Any ideas?
