Vista Problem PLEASE HELP!

my laptop arrived today. worked well. installin all my stuff. all of a sudden it crashes and now its stuck in a loop of restartin vista and configurin updates 3 of 3 and wont move past 0% and then restarts again and again. please help im tearin my hair out.

really appreciate help. it always seems to be me that gets problems lol.

i started it in safe mode...and it still reboots itself again and again with the configuring updates 3 of 3 at 0%.

im seriously ticked off. only arrived today.

yes but it doesnt do anythin. 2 recorvery cd's but they look identical and i boot from disc but still does the confuguring updates loop.
