vista problem

everytime i boot normally the keyboard and mouse dont respond, no lighs, nobodys home, you get the picture...

only time it does work is if i press F8 on boot and select "disable driver signiture enforement" i installed windows and office updates yesterday, but it worked ok after those

any ideas what could have caused this?

sorry, both USB (ms v3 and logitech G11)

the things i remember doing before the problem occured were windows updates and office updates

but im pretty sure i restarted after that and it was ok until i did, only driver i changed yesterday (i think) was the graphics driver but that was much earlier in the evening with about 3 restarts after that one

plug in a ps2 kb for now and try updating the usb drivers -do things like usb keys work ok?

look at usb settings in the bios too
