vista problem

hi bought Toshiba's lap top with VISTA home premium then i was trying setup some software ,then when i finished i restarted after that i can't log in to see the desktop the error is showing is (windows didn't shutdown successful)..... please help me if you know this problem guyz.

how can i solve this thing ?

Are you saying before windows starts it gives an error message saying windows wasn't shut down properely? If so just start in normal mode and it'll be fine.

You usually get error messages like that if there has been a power cut. I imagine most people have seen the "windows didn't shut down correctly" at some point.

As conan said you should just be able to start up Windows in normal mode and everything will be fine again.
