A friend bought his laptop to me with Windows Vista Home pro
The problem he is having is when windows loads it brings up the following error
"vista was unable to load user profile and loaded a temporary profile any changes made will be lost when computer is restarted or shutdown."
All his files are still there in the C:\users folder and everytime it boots it creates a temp profile.
I am guessing a file is corrupt somewhere all i need to know is which one and how do i get a replacement without losing all settings etc.
