Ugh another ****** vista issue, now for some reason vista has decided to replace some program icons (on start menu, word docs etc) with the default one, other than redoing them all manually what can I do to get them back? I think it was something to do with Security Permissions because the security permissions for the Program Files folder were set to none at all for both system & administrators. I changed that back to full for both those groups but it didnt help.

Example

Also when I try to run the MS Office setup app or repair it from control panel it just says "not responding" and quits.

edit: When I'm changing the icons that it cant find it seems to be looking for them in "%SystemRoot%\Installer\{random numbers and letters}\program.exe" The problem is the directory 'Installer' is totally empty.

No one can help with the Office 2007 just crashing? Here is the last part of the setup logfile from the temp dir:

Looks like something to do with the Microsoft Installer but I cant figure out what or if there is a way to reinstall MSI.
