Vista Questions

Just got a few questions About Vista. Ordered it with my new system should have it by tomorrow morning. Anyway I wondering if is actually better for gaming, I saw some benchmark scores on ultimate a while ago and it was worst than XP for gaming but better on apps. Is it pritty much the same on Home Premium or not?

My Next question is how long does Vista take to install?
Spec will be:
C2D E6300
AsRock Dual VSTA Mobo
SeagateBaracuda 200GB SATAII HDD
2GB (2.1GB) OCZ PC2-6400

if its not worth installing i'll go back to XP pro black edition.

ive noticed little difference, although having a second gig of ram certainly helps. I did have to wait for a few games to get patched to run them on vista but none give me any problems now.

I see. games im gonna be playing is CSS and COD2 so nothing to challenging. As for the apps tho:
Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, Freehand, Power-SHAPE, Office Suite

And some other little ones, you think there will be much compatability problems. I have heard that Photoshop CS3 wont run propper on Vista because its designed for the Mac framework?

i had a little trouble with COD2 (had bought it through staem), but managed to get it working although multiplayer is still a no go (the ATI driver seem to cause problems, its pretty well documented on the staem forums).

Hmm COD2 is the reason for the new build lawl. Anyway, Im goign to be running a 6800GS AGP so bit of a difference in the Grpahics area, Also my game is the first release of it so myt have a play around with Patches. I belive there is a Dual Core patch for it. Online is the biggest reason, been inactive since november on there because of this dread peice of cow dung im using atm. So ill see how it goes in the morning.
