I have just 2 questions, is there any way to set Vista to auto login?
I only have 1 account so do not need to enter password every time but need password set for RDP usage.

Secondly I’d like to know if anyone knows where the volume mixer application is located? Unlike XP it is not located in Accessories>Entertainment ! Thanks!

click the little speaker icon in the taskbar then click mixer...
 
I,ve used run > control passwords2 to set Vista to auto login in the past when I had a password set though that might not work on all versions of vista from what some people say on various forums after doing a googling.

I know about this method but I'm trying to remove as many system tray icons as possible as I can run these things off my keyboard easily
