Hello people

I use to have Windows XP , you could choose disk defragmenter volumes ie choose C or D . But with Vista you cannot choose which volume to disk defragmenter or can you ?

Also my other question is when you want to use a programme on Vista i get a pop up saying " Windows needs your permission to continue" can you disable this command ?

the user acount control is configurable (from user accounts in control panel) and the defrag can be scheduled or run now, you need to enable schedule, let it start up then click on run now.

I have sorted the account configurable

Still cannot locate choose disk defragmenter volumes ie choose C or D ?

disk defragmenter still does whole pc , i want it just to give me the option just defragmenter volumes C or D

If you just want to do one drive, then click start, run either open a command prompt or just type in "defrag c:" itll run off and do it for you.

Thanks , i am thinking that XP is a better OS and better to use
