Vista Quick Questions

First, can vista create new extended partitions for me at the start of a disk?

second, I bought the upgrade version so had to install from Vista, but installed on a different drive, so it is on drive F, is it possible to rename the drives without things getting messy?

The first 3 partitions that Vista creates on a disk are primary partitions - the fourth partition you create is an extended partition which you can then make logical drives inside.

Doesn't work the same say as say XP which gives you the option to create an extended partition straight off.

I wouldn't rename the disks, I suspect that would cause some headaches.
