Hi all!

I recently bought a PoV ION netbook, with Vista installed. All was well until I tried using Vistas partition tool to free up what looked like an empty partition. Turned out this wasn't empty, it was being used by Soft Thinks PC Angel. Now this isn't working (not that I knew it was there anyway!), and I get this message on every boot:
Warning: A partition overlaps your system recovery partition. Press F10 to start the system recovery anyway or another key to delete the recovery partition.

So, my questions are:

1: Anyone else experienced this, and have you got any work arounds I could do. Should I delete any signs of Soft Thinks with a registry tool? Any ideas welcome.

2: If I do end up needing a full reinstall, could I use my Vista disc from my desktop machine, but use the license from my netbook? Can I create an install disc of my own with Vista? Loads of updates to get again if not.

3: Does it have to install from disc, or do MS let you install from a USB key? If so, how?

Many thanks in advance! Gutted I messed around now:(

Thanks for the advice, waiting for PoV to get back to me. They mentioned they may send me out a disc to re-install Soft Thinks from.

Will update as and when.

Point of View lived up to their promise, and sent out a disc image and suitable software for me to repair my mistake, very impressed with the customer service.

However, whilst I had been waiting I'd actually been using the system and found the HDD to be very slow, so I spashed out on a new WD Black 320gig HDD, along with Win 7. All installed now, and VERY pleased with the results. It's now perfect:-)
